Deciding the content that makes it onto the platform comes down to the idea. With every post that didn't garner the desired amount of views, came another that made it clearer.
It wasn't the fancy editing that viewers were looking from me, but my ways of conveying
a certain feeling. I can be a bit playful in post (and will end up with 80+ clips at times)
but I always boil it down to 9:16 reframing, color correction, voice-music enhancements
for a certain idea I want to convey.
News reporter + editor = magic
Some editing work done for the news platform TheSocialTalks. Each week
a news anchor would come up with a trendy topic they intended to cover that same week.
With raw footage and a script presented to me, I was able to make the necessary edits for a news worthy post. Other edits were influenced by the brand's requisites, such as branding their logo throughout the video. Once approved, it was ready for YouTube
and their official site.
